Delano's poolside chaises are some of the hardest seats to come by in South Beach, day or night. So, in response, Delano is adding more chaises and private cabanas, as well as a supervised children's play area so that the little ones can join in all the fun.
The Urban Beach "wonderland" - so integral to Delano's ethos - is being improved and expanded. A relaxing Pool Bar is being created, with just the right mix of whimsical style and service - think of it as a "living room by the sea" with a fireplace, barbecue and supervised, tot-friendly enclaves. On the second floor, this wittily designed area opens onto expansive and memorable views of the Orchard and Ocean beyond. The Guestrooms, icons of prisitine stylishness, are being subtly enhanced and made "smarter" to better address guests' needs, and the Penthouse, already quite possibly the most stunning penthouse in the country, is getting bigger and better too. At some four thousand square feet, this enormous private apartment will be like a resort unto itself - featuring a private pool, sensual sundeck, scented garden and sweeping ocean views.
