Cindy Sherman

This retrospective traces the American artist's career from the mid-1970s to the present. Bringing together more than 170 photographs that feature the artist herself as model, the exhibition captures Sherman in a range of guises that are, at turns, comical and disturbing. Highlights include the black-and-white pictures from her Untitled Film Stills series that star Sherman dressed up as Hollywood ingenues; her history portraits, in which she poses as characters straight from old master paintings; and her recent transformations into high-society matrons.

A long bar serves as a casual imbibing spot with a selection of handcrafted cocktails by John Lermayer. The garden building boasts a timeless setting complemented by an elegant crystal chandelier collection and accented with potted plants and natural ficus trees, all beneath the shelter of a dramatic glass roof. The delicate, over-sized glass sculpture centerpiece, crafted by acclaimed artist Beth Lipman, serves as a reference to Cocteau’s story in which seduction takes the form of an elaborate feast, prepared nightly.

Don't be fooled by the healthy part, the Pizza is DELICIOUS.The space includes sit-down service wine, beer and sake cocktails. They have options for anyone with an allergy (dairy, wheat, gluten, nuts, casein, etc). Slice is the only pizzeria in America that uses exclusively 100% organic mozzarella cheese. Every crust, sauce and topping is made in their kitchen from scratch. No pizza sits under a heat lamp ever!
