MONDRIAN IN NEW YORK, OPENING SPRING 2010
Morgans Hotel Group will debut its long awaited downtown New York City location, Mondrian SOHO, in early 2010. Designed by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, the 270-room hotel will bring to life his seductive visions from a fantastical lobby to jewel-box inspired rooms. Mixing disparate periods, textures and art forms, the hotel truly encompasses romance. Mondrian SOHO will also feature an indoor-outdoor bar and restaurant surrounding a lush enchanted garden designed for social rendezvous. Chef Sam Talbot will introduce his interpretation of modern day east coast seafood while leading mixologists will handcraft cocktails.
